The scale-setting heat transfer vinyl Poli-Flex® TURBO by Poli-Tape offers all important vinyl properties that are desired in textile printing. Poli-Flex® Turbo is made of very thin polyurethane, it is easy to use and provides very opaque, high-quality printing results. It has a non-reflective, mat surface and offers a pleasantly soft, textile touch. The material is ecologically harmless, certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Class 1. It can be cut with all customary plotters and is easily weeded afterwards.
Poli-Flex® TURBO can be processed at just 130°C (or if desired up to 160 °C). Therefore, it is suitable for many types of textiles where standard heat transfer vinyls fail. The low temperature application with Poli-Flex® Turbo prevents undesirable effects such as glossiness, fiber damaging and decrease or loss of some of the specific features of the textile. The slightly sticky polyester backing allows easy repositioning of any letters that become loose when weeding the material.
Poli-Flex® TURBO is an excellent "universal vinyl" for all common applications. It provides perfect adhesion to various fabrics including cotton, polyester compounds, acrylic blends, fleece, and nylon. For application to Nylon that is treated with any kind of coating, please test for suitability.
This vinyl is not suitable for sublimated textiles (see Blockout Vinyls).
