Which heat press is the right one?
Choosing the right heat press mainly depends on the materials you want to customise, how frequently the press will be used and the production volumes you intend to process. The required pressing area, the desired level of automation and any special requirements regarding pressing pressure also play an important role.
For occasional one-off production, a compact manual heat press may already be the right choice. For higher production volumes, semi-automatic or pneumatic models provide more efficient workflows and consistently high quality. Suitable specialist solutions are also available for large-format designs, special textiles or specific production processes.

Open guideLotus, the heat press manufacturer, offers a wide selection of different models that can be divided into the following categories:
Manual Heat Presses
Manual heat presses are closed and opened by hand. They are particularly suitable for small to medium production runs, frequently changing designs and flexible production processes. As no compressor is required, they offer an uncomplicated entry into professional textile printing and are suitable for DTF, flex, flock and sublimation applications.
Semi-Automatic Heat Presses
Semi-automatic heat presses are closed manually and open automatically once the pressing time has elapsed. This improves ease of use, prevents excessive pressing times and makes parallel work processes easier. They are particularly suitable for small to medium production volumes and do not require a compressor.
Pneumatic Heat Presses
Pneumatic heat presses generate pressing pressure using compressed air and are activated at the touch of a button. They enable consistent, reproducible results for higher production volumes and large-area transfers. They are particularly suitable for professional textile printing businesses and industrial applications. A compressor is required.
Membrane Heat Presses
Membrane heat presses distribute pressure particularly evenly via a flexible membrane filled with compressed air. This makes them suitable for materials of different heights, uneven workpieces and demanding large-format or industrial applications. Pressure, temperature and pressing time can be precisely adjusted to the respective process.
Large-Format Heat Presses
Large-format heat presses are designed for large designs, textiles and rigid print media. Typical applications include sublimation printing, sportswear, flags, textile panels and coated aluminium sheets. Depending on the application, semi-automatic, pneumatic or membrane-controlled versions are available.
Custom-Built Solutions
Lotus develops custom-built heat presses for special formats, materials and production processes. Individually adapted pressing surfaces, heating systems, control systems and automated movement sequences are possible, including integration into existing production lines. Each solution is technically and economically tailored to the respective application.
