AlbaChem DFR Direct to Film Remover has been specially developed to remove Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers from textiles and correct defective prints or misplaced designs.

AlbaChem DFR is used to remove defective or incorrectly positioned DTF transfers from textiles. The product can also help remove adhesive residue remaining after the transfer has been detached. Effectiveness depends on the textile, the transfer used and its adhesive.

Application

1. Check material compatibility: Always test DFR on an inconspicuous area before use. Some textiles may experience colour loss.

2. Remove the transfer: Apply DFR directly to the DTF transfer to be removed. Allow the product to work until the transfer loosens, then carefully remove it.

3. Remove remaining adhesive residue: If adhesive residue remains on the textile after removing the transfer, allow DFR to work on these areas for 5 to 15 minutes. Then carefully scrape off the softened adhesive.

4. Rinse and dry: Always rinse the treated area with water after application and allow the textile to dry completely.

Important Information About the Results

DFR cannot guarantee complete removal from every textile or every DTF transfer. The result depends on the fabric and the transfer used, including its adhesive.

Residue may remain even after treatment. Depending on the result, it may therefore be necessary to cover the treated area with a new transfer after cleaning and complete drying.
